A Message From the Narrator

 

I almost feel as if I should apologize

for sharing the details of the worst moments of your life.

I have told the world about your heartbreaks, traumas, and the death of those closest to you,

and so rarely do I tell about the moments of smiles and joy.

I could tell the world of those

it would be easy

I have seen it all.

But those moments don't draw people to the story

so I'll stick with what works.

I am sorry for sharing all of the intimate details of your life

but I'm going to keep doing it.

It is my role after all.
